Ingredients
1 medium-sized bunch of kale washed and dried
2 tsp coconut oil
Powdered Cayenne pepper
Instructions
Preheat oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit.
Wash and dry one bunch of kale, making sure the leaves are completely dry.
Cut the leaves off the stems and veins and into chip-sized pieces.
Drizzle the oil as evenly over the kale as possible and using your hands distribute the oil evenly over the surface. If you find you need a tiny bit more oil, add it one drop at a time. If you don't want the added fat skip the oil altogether.
Sprinkle the leaves with cayenne (or substitute another spice like turmeric, cumin, etc.)
Bake for 10 minutes.
Rotate the pan and flip any pieces that are starting to look crispy, then bake for another 10 minutes.
Watch closely for the last 7-8 minutes to prevent over browning.
Remove the pan from the oven, sprinkle a little almond flour over top, and leave the chips on the pan to cool.
